Hello. My name is Dave. I am originally from Colorado Springs, but now live in Hudson, Ohio. The computer still confuses me, for example, right now my typed words are being high-lighted in yellow. I have no idea why this is happening. I am 45, but retired. Long story, and maybe someday I'll "blog" about it, after I get rid of this yellow high-light. The important thing is I'm a wanna-be author. (okay..now the yellow high-light is gone, I have no idea why it suddenly stopped.) Now, if you consider an author to be someone that wrote a book, then I'm an author. If you consider an author as someone who wrote a published book, then I'm not. Somehow, I'm going to put chapters of the book on this blog. The somehow, folks will read it, and not just close friends and family, but "people out there." I don't know how this will happen, but it will.
On a personal note. I moved from Colorado to Hudson, Ohio in October of 2002. Meet a lady named Marcia, who is the greatest thing that's happened to me. I will not use this blog as a way to promote my politics or faith very often, but I will say it was the Spirit of the LORD (And by LORD, I mean Jesus, not "whoever you think the LORD is" type of thing.) that brought us together. Not because of who I am, but in spite of it.
Okay, now let's see if I can get this blog thing figured out! (I set the odds at 50-50 right now.)
